Spirulina Superfood Green Smoothie Recipe
Spirulina is a natural “green algae” powder that is incredibly high in protein and a good source of antioxidants, B-vitamins and other nutrients. When harvested correctly from non-contaminated ponds and bodies of water, it is one of the most potent nutrient sources available. It is largely made up of protein and essential amino acids and is typically recommended to vegetarians for its high natural iron content
Make it taste better by adding some natural ingredients to this smoothie!
1 cup of milk (preferably almond, coconut, hemp, or raw milk)
1 cup of fresh or frozen mixed berries
1 fresh or frozen banana
2 teaspoons of natural “green algae”
A little honey
Place the ingredients into your high-speed blender and blend for around 30-45 seconds or until nice and smooth.Enjoy!
